The Sandia Mountains loom over Albuqueque. I took a hike on a trail which led to the La Luz trail, which goes up to Sandia Peak. I met the in the bottom two pictures (Angela) while hiking the trail, as well as her sister. The top two images I took from Sandia Peak. To get to Sandia Peak (without hiking) requires taking the longest tram ride in the world, and its quite a view and quite a change in temperature. At the bottom of the tram, the temperature was 87 degrees Fahrenheit. At the peak, the temperature is (no kidding) 48 degrees Fahenheit... in the middle of summer.
