Most of the pictures taken were with a Olympus D-600L SLR digital camera. Though it is ancient compared to other digital cameras, you simply cannot beat an SLR for taking good shots. I just cannot get over the parallax problem.

However, I used standard photo  resolution for the majority of the shots, so you don't get a great image. Plus, I needed to reduce picture quality so it would not take forever for you to download. (Not everyone has a digital cable internet hookup, after all.)

Some of the pictures are actually scans. I apologize in advance for the poor picture quality of Kayaking and Sandia Peak. Unfortunately, my sunscreen (a necessity in New Mexico) covered the lens of the waterproof camera as a consequence of my flailing while paddling in the kayak. This is not easily removed. So there is a Barbara Walters-like haze covering some of the pictures. It is not a holy veneer, giving everything a halo!
