If you ignore the behavior of the Desert Millipedes, note the Dung Beetle in the middle of the picture rolling a ball in the middle of the picture. I found Dung Beetle balls in the middle of a flood plain in West Rim Trail, but never encountered the Dung Beetle itself until now. |
