You might be wondering what is going on here. I'm stuck on some submerged rocks. I spent most of my energy trying to get dislodged from these rocks, not navigating the rapids (which is the fun part). The submerged rocks are not fun. Sometimes I could push off by literally grabbing a rock and push off. Other times I would have to push off by using a paddle (particularly when there was nothing to grab onto). Here, I can't push off, but one technique for getting dislodged is by shifting yourself to the front of the kayak. I don't know why this works, having never taking fluid dynamics. The final way dislodge the kayak is to jump out, but this is risky, and it is better to have a guide nearby help in case something goes wrong. |
